Welcome Blue Knights, Georgia VI
This is the OFFICIAL website for Blue Knights Georgia Chapter VI.
Georgia VI was originally chartered in Woodstock (Cherokee County) Georgia in 1999. There were 17 founding members. Several of our founding members are still active in our group.
Our members represent more than a dozen local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. We are a fraternal organization that prides itself on leaving the politics of police work, at work.
Make a Difference with Blue Knights GA VI
The members of Blue Knights Georgia VI are coming together to support a young boy and his family during an unimaginable time. We’re raising funds to help Koltyn as he begins a long road of recovery, care, and adapting to a life that changed in an instant.
Just a short time ago, 12-year-old Koltyn had big plans for the year ahead.
He had just made the baseball team, and his parents were in the stands beaming with pride. Their gritty, determined kid was ready for his season.
Then, in a single moment, everything changed.
Earlier this year, Koltyn was accidentally shot in a tragic accident that has shaken the entire family to their core.
The impact has been devastating
Koltyn is now paralyzed from the chest down.
Right now, the family is focused on one thing: helping Koltyn heal and keeping their family together through an unimaginable time.
The road ahead will be long.
Their home will need modifications, including an accessible room, and they will need specialized transportation as Koltyn adapts to life in a wheelchair. As Koltyn fights to rebuild his life, the medical care, therapy, and home changes ahead will create overwhelming costs for his family.
Koltyn is already working hard in physical therapy, recently regained some movement in his fingers, and is looking into adaptive sports like wheelchair rugby and wheelchair baseball. He hasn’t given up on the game he loves.
