Hope everyone has had a great week and weekend. It has be a salad bowel of weather the past few days. As you know our Oct. Meeting was waived due to the Hero’s for Hero’s ride being on the same day as our meeting.
It was a good ride and a great cause to Honor the Georgia’s fallen Officers. This months meeting will be on Nov. 10th held at the Golden Corral 915 North Point Drive, Alpharetta Ga. at 9:00 AM. For those of you that would like to ride down from the Cumming area please meet me at the BP station Banister Road and Hwy. 369 at 8:00 KSU 8:15. We have a number of business topics to cover at the meeting including the 50/50 drawing, this years Christmas Party, Chapter VI web page update and nominee suggestions for the vacant VP position.
Please mark your calendars for the 27th Annual Buck Jones Memorial Toy Run November 18th. Bring 3 toys, 1 per stop. The ride starts at the Cumming Fairgrounds . Registration 11:00 am KSU 1:00 PM. This ride is for a great cause, providing Christmas toys for many children who would not have presents under their tree. Please wear your colors to show our support from our chapter.
Also coming up, the Knights on the Island ride to Jekyll Island Nov. 13-14. We still have some good riding days left for the fall so let me know if you have any suggestions for rides/hooky rides.
